I höstas var vi på badhotellet ”the Reef” i Fredrikshamn. Det gjorde intryck på kidsen kan man lugnt säga. Ganska ofta leker de att de numera att de åker Danmarks-båten och kommer fram till badhotellet och skall simma. Därför är det ju ganska logiskt att barnens docka Maja (i strl 62/68) behövde lite badkläder för alla sina resor. Först sydde jag en baddräkt (fast i jersey – det är ju till dockan) där underdelen är lite större och som jag sedan har rynkat både i midjan och i benöppningarna. Mönstret kommer från en Ottobretidning, tyvärr osäker på nummer.
Att Maja bara skulle ha sig en baddräkt kändes lite tråkigt, så hon fick även en vändbar badrock i jersey och strechfrotté.
Material: Strechjersey ”Katten och hjärtan” kommer från Ilovu och är designad av Paula på James Pattern Design. Det är för övrigt Ilovu:s egen logga som blivit tyg. Kul idé! Strechfrottén kommer från Jofotex och miniprickarna kan man hitta hos Jonic. Den lilla rosetten och de rosa knapparna med hjärtan kommer från 3exter.
Last fall we were at the Hotel ”The Reef ” in Copenhagen. It made an impression on the kids you can safely say. Quite often they play that they go with the ferry and arrive at the Spa Hotel, there they start to swim. Therefore, it is of course quite logical that the children’s doll Maja ( in size 62/68 ) needed some swimwear for all their travels. First I sewed a bathing suit (single jersey – it’s just for the doll ) where the bottom is a bit bigger than the top and I then have gathered at the waist and the legs. The pattern comes from Ottobre, unfortunately unsure of which one. That Maja would have only a swimsuit felt a bit boring, so she also got a reversible bathrobe in single jersey and stretch terry cloth.
Material: Stretch Jersey ” The Cat and hearts ” comes from Ilovu and is designed by Paula, James Pattern Design . Moreover, it is Ilovu ‘s own logo which has become fabric. Fun idea! Strech terry comes from Jofotex and mini dots can be found at Jonic. The small rosette and the pink buttons with hearts are from 3exter .
